DFSK’s Indonesian joint venture partner, PT Sokonindo Automobile, has announced that its all-electric van, the Gelora E, has been adopted by the Jakarta government as a feeder between Duri Station and Taman Baharia for a three-month free ride.
The seven-passenger version of the DFSK Gelora E, which will be used as a feeder, is priced from IDR 582,100,000 (approximately NTD 1,165,000), with a length, width and height of 4,500×1,680×1,960 (mm) and a wheelbase of 3,050mm. The front suspension is a freestanding MacPherson with a five-piece leaf spring rear suspension and 185/80R14 tyres.
Inside, the Gelora E has a black cockpit with a grey canopy and some areas of the car are covered in painted sheet metal, with side sliding doors, rotary gearshift, 1DIN audio or touchscreen, air conditioning and electric windows.
The Gelora E is powered by a permanent magnet synchronous electric motor with a maximum output of 60kW and a peak torque of 200Nm.
For the domestic market, DFSK has not yet introduced the van to the domestic market, and all models are commercial vans, with two models available: the Double Cab S2.5t and the Single Cab S2.5t.
