Motor KTM has officially announced the price of the 2022 RC 390 at RMB 51,980,000. The new model has been upgraded considerably compared to the old model, and is still powered by the same “big single cylinder” 373cc engine.
The new RC 390 will feature lightweight wheels, WP APEX front and rear shocks, BYBRE brakes and an adjustable split handlebar for both track and street riding. It will also come with 3D IMU inertial measurement system, cornering ABS, MTC traction control and SUPERMOTO ABS mode as standard to enhance playability. In addition to this enhancement and incorporation of safety assistance features, the new RC390 will also use practical cutting-edge features such as electronic throttle, TFT full colour instrumentation and full LED light sources.
In addition to the adjustable split handlebars at the front, the new RC390 has also had its weight reduced, making the bike 1.5kg lighter than the old model. It seems that KTM has put a lot of effort into the lightweight control of the new RC390, otherwise it would not have been possible to achieve the current result.
Power is still provided by the 373cc single-cylinder engine with a maximum power of 32kW and a peak torque of 36N-m. This is combined with a slipping clutch and a quick release for a more extreme driving experience.
