Radio Shack announces the reopening of its nine stores in Costa Rica, Radio Shack will reopen its nine stores in Costa Rica and, with them, will generate 30 direct jobs thanks to an investment of $1.5 million.
This was reported by the company through its communication agency through an invitation to the media for this Thursday.
The reopening activity of the Radio Shack points will take place in the fifth stage of Multiplaza Escazú.
The chain that announced this step is due to “the improvement of the country’s economic conditions as well as the appetite that people have for consuming the latest technology.”
Radio Shack will reopen with the sale of cell phones, televisions, video equipment, computers and video games.
Additionally, it will offer access to credit and financing and purchases through the EMMA application.

Radio Shack will reopen in a market with strong competition in the electronics sector.
Grupo Monge has more than 180 points of sale in Costa Rica for the Monge, El Gallo más Gallo and El Verdugo brands.
In these stores, there is not only the sale of electrical appliances. Also a wide range of electronic products such as flat screens, computers, cell phones, and video games.
In fact, Monge has two Gamer Labs, a concept dedicated to video game fans.
The first is located in the Monge store in San Rafael de Escazú on Route 27 and the second is in the store in front of the Social Guarantees roundabout.
